The $10 Liberty Eagle gold coin was one of the most circulated and popular coins in U.S. history. These U.S. ten dollar gold coins were minted from 1838 to 1907. The coin is 27mm in diameter and contain .48375 oz. of pure gold. The U.S. $10 Liberty gold coin referred to as “Eagles” were one of the first American gold coins produced.
