The 1907 Quarter(1/4) Eagle is officially the most common date of the series. More examples of this date have been graded in Mint State that any other. This date can be found in all grades from Very Fine to several examples in MS-68. The 1907 quarter eagle is slightly more popular than others because it is the last year of issue for the type. Quarter eagles were popular gifts at the time of issue.
